PLANTSTRONG'S all-new Portobello Skillet Burger Mix is a time saving recipe of ground oats, beans, seeds, and spices that's chock full of flavor, and capable of creating the plant-based burger of your dreams. Once mixed with water or broth, the course dough may be pan fried, baked, or air fried to a crispy, aromatically rich, golden brown.

Includes two (6 oz.) packages. Each package makes 3-4 burgers.  GLUTEN FREE.

Don't judge the burger by the bag. We were so excited to get this new test kitchen product to you, that we chose not to delay our launch by waiting for our preferred bag (long supply chain lead time) and instead used an in-house packaging solution (even though it is much too large). 

This handy mix takes some of the work out of making healthy burgers at home, while yielding restaurant-quality results. They're whole grain, oil free, a great source of protein and fiber, and made without added sugar or excessive salt.

To make burgers:

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, mix contents of one packet with one cup of hot water or broth. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Use a measuring cup to scoop and form into patties, and drop onto a skillet or parchment lined plate. Pro tip: place plate in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to help burgers set up more.

Preheat non-stick skillet to medium-high, then pan sear the burgers until internal temp reaches 165 degrees. It's best to let the burgers cook without moving them for at least four minutes before flipping and repeating on the other side.

Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
